At the end of April 2020, an old musical acquaintance Andru Bemis asked if I'd be interested in recording a few songs for a radio program he was producing. The normal format of his show is live performances to small audiences in intimate spaces. Due to the COVID-19 crisis a lot of scheduled performances for the show were cancelled or postponed. Andru reached out to a number of performing songwriters to produce fresh recordings in a slightly different format. The show must go on!

I jumped at the opportunity to finally wade into the murky waters of self-recording. The program first aired on May 3rd, 2020 and may be available for play through syndication on your local non-commercial or community radio station via the Pacifica Network (more information for how to get the show added to your local station at: www.andrubemis.com/chenango-sessions/).

I'm currently offering this collection of home recordings (with permission from Andru Bemis) to bandcamp subscribers exclusively. Thank you for your ongoing support. I hope you enjoy the songs from Toss Your Javelin as you might hear me playing them in my practice space alone.
